Travel bursaries are available for around 8 scholars presenting at our second conference, which takes place 14-16 September 2026 in Calabar, Nigeria. A full call for papers is available here.

Application process

Extended abstracts (1000-1500 words) should be submitted by the end of March 15, 2026. Abstracts should be submitted though this form: https://forms.office.com/e/J3gQC6x27G.

Travel funding awardees will be selected on the basis of the quality of their extended abstracts, and will be expected to submit a full draft of their paper one week before the conference date.

We will notify acceptance and sponsorship of successful applications by April 15, 2026.
